Tip:

It is summertime and many cars overheat and/or people are flushing their radiators. Please remember that ANTI-FREEZE is extremely toxic to our pets. It has a very attractive taste, and just a small amount ingested by a dog or cat can lead to very serious kidney failure and many times, death. Two tips; if you think your dog or cat may have ingested anti-freeze, please contact your veterinarian immediately because treatment is only effective if given in the first 48 hours, and the sooner the better. Second, if you have pets, look for more "pet-safe" brands of anti-freeze. They are marked as such on the bottle. None of them are completely safe, but we need to do all we can to make things safer for our pets.
